I’m Going To Miss You, Ben Roethlisberger

You made the Pittsburgh Steelers a great football team.

UPDATE January 11, 2022

Holy shit! The Steelers are in the playoffs!

Today is Monday, January 3, 2022. I’m watching the final home game and last Monday night football game for Pittsburgh’s favorite quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger. He’s played 248 games, with game 249 right around the corner.

I’m a born and raised Pittsburgher living in Florida, and this is a sad night for me. Ben is the best quarterback to ever play for the Steelers. Sure, Terry Bradshaw won more Super Bowls, but his attitude towards Chuck Noll and Pittsburgh sucked. What kind of ass wouldn’t attend Chuck Noll’s funeral? If it wasn’t for Chuck Noll’s style of coaching, Bradshaw probably wouldn’t have played in those Super Bowls. He was shit without his defense we called “The Steel Curtain.” Bradshaw stands by his decision and he’s entitled to his opinion. I’m entitled to call him an ass. Sorry, Terry…we never felt your love.

Ben, on the other hand, is a Yinzer and loves Pittsburgh. Listen to the crowd roar when he’s introduced at Heinz Field this evening.
