Is It Procrastination If You Don’t Have a Deadline?

Take a hard look at the photo in this article. A half-dressed woman standing behind an ironing board in her kitchen…what’s wrong with this picture?
Everything is wrong with this picture.
Her hair is styled. She’s wearing lipstick and eye makeup. She doesn’t have a wrinkle anywhere on her face, neck, or chest. And the kitchen? The countertops aren’t cluttered with almost folded laundry, empty dishes, boxes and cans of food, and ripe bananas. The jar on the countertop next to the oven is empty! Not a pen, pencil, pair of scissors, Sharpie marker, or loose change in it. Where did she hide them? I’ll bet she doesn’t even own a junk drawer.
This poor girl doesn’t look like she’s in a hurry to finish ironing that garment. She’s definitely not late for work. If she was, that ironing board and iron would be stuffed in the closet where they came from, and wrinkled clothes would be her fashion style.
