Thoughts and Advice for the iPhone 13 Pro Max
Apple made up for the iPhone 12 Pro and saved me from a Samsung phone.
When Apple came out with the iPhone 12’s last year, I purchased the 12 Pro. Not the 12 Pro Max, even though I’ve owned every Apple device with the word “Max” in the past. Stupid me thought a middle-of-the-road-sized screen would be a nice change. What in the hell was I thinking?
The .6" screen difference is huge when your vision changes as much as mine. The 6.1" iPhone 12 Pro screen runs out of real estate if you need to super zoom some websites. I’m not having any zoom issues with the 13 Pro Max.
Chalk up one point for Team Apple.
The 13 Pro Max’s speakers are louder and clearer than the iPhone 12 Pro. My husband appreciates the volume boost when he forgets to wear his hearing aids. Chalk up another point for Apple.
Apple said the iPhone 13 Pro Max camera was going to be improved. They weren’t kidding. I was in the back row at a wedding two days after my phone arrived. I don’t usually make videos. I like stills. But this was a special occasion, and I didn’t see a videographer filming. I zoomed the camera to the church altar. The lenses focused on the bride and groom perfectly.
