Two Reasons Why the US Is In Trouble

Pardon me while I adjust my microphone.

I’m an angry American for a number of reasons.

Reason #1

The most recent one is the appointment of Dr. Scott Atlas as a COVID-19 health advisor. He has zero infectious disease qualifications. None. Nada. Zilch. My qualifications in that area are probably the same as his. A well respected OB/GYN would most likely have the same input as Dr. Atlas.

This appointment is as stupid as making DeJoy the Postmaster General. A Republican campaign donor who can probably open envelopes. I wonder if that qualification got him the job.

Reason#2

The main reason I’m pissed off is how the president didn’t make any executive orders MANDATING THAT THE ENTIRE COUNTRY wear masks in public and use social distancing guidelines at public gatherings. Then guess what?

We could have saved TRILLIONS of dollars because we wouldn’t have had to shut down the country, millions of people wouldn’t have lost their jobs, and everyone would have been able to find toilet paper to wipe their asses. The US could’ve been as successful in fighting COVID-19 as Germany and Taiwan.

But nooooo. The president left it up to the governors in each state to decide what was best. That’s fifty…count them…50 governors not on the same page to fight this virus in unison.

It was the biggest political and medical clusterf#ck to happen in the United States on all its years of history.

If these policies continue, we are doomed.
